“I honestly think it is better to be a failure at something you love than to be a success at something you hate.” — George Burns
Have you ever noticed that when you are struggling to accomplish something, it’s more enjoyable if it is something that you love to do? Successfully doing something that you dislike never quite ends with complete satisfaction. It’s like….well, I did it………..now what’s next. On the other hand, when you are loving whatever it is that you are doing, the results seem minor compared to the feeling that you get while you are “doing the doing”.
The feeling that you enjoyed the process and are satisfied with the results. Even if those results are not perfect.
What are you doing today that you love to do? And if you fail, do you love it enough to be satisfied with the failure because you enjoyed the process…..the doing?
Today, find something to do that gives you true enjoyment regardless of the results. Don’t worry about being a failure at something you love.
